Secrets Vault offers a user-friendly method to safeguard and share secrets while respecting self-custody. Users can:
- Use a variety of authentication factors to protect and recover their secrets: This could include another wallet, social account, email, phone, or Telegram account. This flexibility ensures that users can choose the most convenient and secure authentication method for their needs.
- Safeguard different types of information: Users can protect a wide range of sensitive data, such as seed phrases, passwords, master keys, documents, images, and even audio files. This versatility makes Secrets Vault suitable for various personal and professional applications.
- Define rules for third parties to get access to the safeguarded information: Users can specify who should access the secret, when they can access it, and under what conditions. This feature is crucial for scenarios like inheritance, emergency access, and delegation of responsibilities.
The secrets are protected using the image, which can be placed anywhere, even in plain sight, such as on social media. To retrieve the secrets, users only need to remember the image. This approach makes it highly convenient and secure, ensuring that even if the image is publicly visible, the hidden secrets remain safe. This combination of advanced cryptography and user-friendly design makes Secrets Vault an ideal solution for secure secret management.
