Need to update a saved secret? Whether you’re changing a password, updating a seed phrase, or modifying access permissions, Secrets Vault allows you to edit an existing secret securely.
Follow these simple steps to update your secret while ensuring it remains fully protected using visual cryptography.
- Go to My Secrets. You can find this page in the menu on the left of the screen if you are on desktop, or at the bottom of the screen if you are accessing Secrets Vault from your phone.
- Find the secret you want to edit, and click on the pencil icon.
- Use your Keepic to unlock the secret.
- Now you can edit everything, including the name, contents, and tags. You can also change the Keepic.
Note: If you want to change the secret type to a different format, your secret will be replaced by the new file you provide. Make sure you double check before saving to avoid losing important information.
