The challenges we address
Passwords are becoming more cumbersome because hackers have more tools to breach them. Even if, in some specific cases, passwords could be replaced by emerging technologies like passkeys, there will always be a need for passwords in many scenarios, especially when self-custody of sensitive assets is at stake. Images are much easier to remember than passwords, but for many obvious reasons, they cannot replace them—until now.
Secrets Vault has conceived a new cryptographic technology that allows images to “replace” passwords in various situations. Imagine backing up your crypto-wallet using an image to recover it—an image that you can openly share without giving away your full self-custody, and defining rules for trusted third parties to access your wallet only when certain conditions are met. Replace “crypto-wallet” with passwords, sensitive information, master recovery keys, grandma’s beef recipe, Coke’s secret formula—you have thousands of options to protect and share your “Secrets.”
How Secrets Vault works
